There is something completely different about Four Seasons San Domenico Palace as the sun begins to disappear over Taormina. For our evening photoshoot, Andrew and Jules dressed up for a more elegant and cinematic side of their Sicilian story.
We started around the iconic Dolce & Gabbana cabanas and swimming pool, with the warm sunset light and beautiful views creating the perfect atmosphere for a luxury editorial couple photoshoot. They played chess, laughed, enjoyed the evening and somehow every little moment looked like a scene from an old Italian movie.
Then came one of the most magical moments of the day. We walked into the gardens just as the last light was falling, surrounded by flowers with Mount Etna in the background. The colors, the elegant dress, the Sicilian landscape and that incredible sunset made everything feel almost unreal.
As evening arrived, we continued inside San Domenico Palace, taking photographs around the elegant bar and lobby before finishing outside at the historic entrance and fountain beneath the San Domenico Palace sign.
Four Seasons Taormina is an incredible location for an engagement photoshoot, honeymoon session, romantic couple photography or a luxury proposal in Sicily. From sunset views and Mount Etna to the Dolce & Gabbana details, historic interiors and Mediterranean gardens, every part of the hotel creates a completely different atmosphere.
A little glamorous, a little cinematic, and one of those Sicilian evenings that you simply do not want to end. โจ
